I’m shamelessly a Christmas fanatic. And the second September hits I start planning for the big day! I’m always interested in what the top toys at Christmas are. I have two boys, so that’s one reason. But I’m also a marketer, so I’m inherently interested in what performs, how it is marketed and why it appeals. Boring, I know.
But one that caught my eye is the Fisher Price Think and Learn Teach n Tag Movi, a little robot toy aimed at 3 to 6 year olds.
Perhaps the main reason this caught my eye is because my eldest son will be 3 in February, so this is something that would be a consideration for him.
Teach n Tag Movi – What does it do?
So what is it? It’s a robot style learning toy with 6 different game modes. It asks the little ones questions, but interestingly, some of the game modes also encourage a lot of physical active play.
It weighs less than 800g and has 60 different faces. In other words, it’s pretty cute!
Teach n Tag Movi Deals and Prices
On Amazon, it’s currently listed at £44.99.
If you’re a Prime customer, you can get free next day delivery on that too.
That’s the same price as Smyths, The Entertainer and Argos at the time of writing.
Will it run out before Christmas?
The Fisher Price Think and Learn Teach n Tag Movi has been tipped by buyers from multiple retailers to be amongst the most popular toys this Christmas. So there’s a chance stock will run low in the run up (remember Hatchimals last year?!).
Buy early if you know for sure you want one! And don’t forget to check prices in stores where you can’t buy online. The likes of B&M, for example, have a range of Fisher Price toys (albeit Movi is not amongst them at the moment) and the prices are usually very competitive.
Reviews
There are not a lot of reviews on Amazon at the time of writing (1!) but the toy did review well. You ca read the full Netmums review thread here.
