A Weekend Away – {Living Arrows}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.” (Kahlil Gibran)

We had a lovely weekend catching up with some friends. We stayed in a lovely cottage on the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire boundary.

Aside from the fact it was amazing to catch up with friends, we also visited a lovely National Trust site. We went to Hardwick Hall and our toddler had change to wander around the gardens. Here he is exploring the cute little fairy houses built into the bottom of the trees.

And the photo at the top is our youngest son who has gotten really chunky over the past few weeks. He’s 3 months old tomorrow! How time flies!
