Living Arrows Fun in the Sun

More Fun in the Sun – {Living Arrows}

“You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.” (Kahlil Gibran)

I absolutely love the North West of England when the sun is shining. I wish we had sunshine and warmth all summer! But then again, perhaps we wouldn’t appreciate it as much.

This week, we’ve had family who live overseas around and my sons always get spoilt rotten when that’s the case! It has also meant we’ve been out and about lots this week – making the most of summer maternity leave.

My Living Arrows photos this week were taken on a picnic in a nearby country park.

This is my two year old heading towards me with a little flower he’d picked for me in his hand. Little charmer!

And here is my youngest. He’s 12 weeks old today and getting really chunky! He definitely seems beyond the “newborn phase,” now and is really responsive and smiley. He loves watching his older brother running around. He lay on a blanket in the shade during our picnic, just taking it all in.

I really hope the weather stays like this! We have a few days away over the next week and it’s always that little bit better when the sun’s out!
